Save one article, or follow the whole site

Found an article worth covering? Save it as a Story for your next issue. Want everything a site publishes? Follow it as a Source, and HeyNews picks up new posts automatically.

The extension is free and saves to your HeyNews account.

Made for Chrome and installed from the Chrome Web Store. There is no Firefox or Safari version.

How it works

Three steps from reading an article to having it ready for your next newsletter.

Step 1

Open any article

Find a page on any website that your readers would like.

Step 2

Save it or follow the site

Click the HeyNews extension. Choose Save as story for this page, or Save site as source to add the whole site as a Source.

Step 3

Use it in your next issue

Stories are ready in Compose. Followed sites keep bringing in new Stories.

Built for newsletter creators

Add to Compose

After you save a Story, add it to the draft open in Compose, or start a new one. The extension remembers your Compose session for 30 minutes.

Copy page as Markdown

Copy the page text as Markdown. With Compose open, you can also save the page as a Story and add it to your draft.

Import from my browser

Some sites block automated readers. Choose Import from my browser in Compose, open the page, and send it from the extension in one click.
