    Plans

    Pick the capacity that fits

HeyNews plans differ in capacity, and every plan includes voice training, browser curation, newsletter integrations, 12 months of story history, and the editor workflow for drafting publish-ready issues. On every plan, HeyNews sets up the AI Writers your newsletter needs, up to 7 per publication. Switch between monthly and yearly to compare prices. Annual billing saves 30% before any active Marketing Promotion is applied. The free trial ends after 14 days or 5 generated issues, whichever comes first. Your card is charged on day 14 unless you cancel.

Prices are billed monthly. Yearly billing saves 30%.

    Frequently asked questions

Questions before you choose a plan

One issue is one newsletter draft generated for one publication. Every generation counts, and deleting a draft does not give it back. Your issue allowance resets every month, even on yearly billing: 5 issues on Hobbyist, 15 on Starter, 45 on Pro, and 90 on Team. You can revise each draft inside your plan limits before you publish it.

14 days or 5 generated issues, whichever comes first. The trial includes 5 AI revisions per draft and 1 publication. Collaboration seats and add-ons become available once billing starts. You can connect your publication, train HeyNews on your past issues, add sources, and test the editing workflow. Each account gets one free trial. If you cancel during the trial, access ends right away and restarting is paid.

You add a payment method when you start the trial. Your card is charged on day 14 unless you cancel. Used all 5 early? Start your plan now (you see the amount first) or wait. To cancel, go to Account settings before day 14.

Hobbyist is best for solo creators publishing occasionally: $39 per month for 5 issues and 1 publication. Starter fits creators building a consistent cadence: $99 per month for 15 issues and 2 publications. Pro is the default fit for weekly or multi-weekly creators: $299 per month for 45 issues and 4 publications. Team is for teams, agencies, and operators managing several publications or heavy revision cycles: $499 per month for 90 issues and 10 publications.

Yes. Hobbyist includes 1 publication, Starter includes 2, Pro includes 4, and Team includes 10. You can also add publication packs if you need more newsletters, brands, or client accounts.

Team includes 100 AI revisions per draft. Hobbyist includes 5, Starter includes 10, and Pro includes 20. The 100-revision add-on is available for $50/month or $420/year.

HeyNews supports beehiiv, Kit, Substack, Ghost, Mailchimp, Medium, and any platform with a public archive URL. The Chrome extension also lets you curate content directly from the browser.

Add an issue pack instead of changing your base plan. Packs come in 10, 20, and 30 issue sizes, bill monthly even on yearly plans, and renew each month until you remove them.

Yes. You can start with the plan that matches your current publishing schedule and move up as your issue volume, revision needs, or number of publications grows. Hobbyist starts at 5 issues a month, 5 AI revisions per draft, and 1 publication. Team goes up to 90 issues a month, 100 AI revisions per draft, and 10 publications.

Yes. On a paid plan you can pause for one month from Account settings, once every three months. Pause is not available during the free trial. If you cancel a paid plan, it runs to the end of the billing period and you can undo the cancellation any time before then. Cancelling a trial ends access right away.

Yes. Starter includes 1 collaboration seat, Pro includes 3, and Team includes unlimited seats. Hobbyist is a solo plan. A seat covers one person across every publication under your billing account, so someone who works on two of your newsletters still uses one seat. You can add seats to Hobbyist, Starter, or Pro for $29 per month each.

HeyNews lists plan and add-on prices in US dollars. Plans are $39 per month for Hobbyist, $99 for Starter, $299 for Pro, and $499 for Team. Stripe may show an eligible local currency when you open Checkout. Stripe calculates that amount and handles the conversion. Your HeyNews plan remains priced in US dollars.

Every plan keeps 12 months of story history, so you can pull from something you saved in January when you write in December.

The SaaS plans give you the tool to write newsletters faster. Company Newsletter is the custom-scoped managed path for company-owned newsletters, whether you are launching one or delegating an existing workflow. Your team stays in the approval loop for every send.

Yes. Existing creator newsletters can start with the self-serve product, but creators who want launch support or ongoing production help should use the Creator Newsletter service path so we can scope the work by call.

Pricing is scoped on the discovery call so it matches your cadence, voice training depth, source complexity, and review workflow. Startup timing depends on how quickly source access, sender readiness, and stakeholder approvals are in place.
